Safehaven is committed to telling the stories of the 1% with the launch of One in 100, the Safehaven storybook.
Safehaven is releasing a one-of-a-kind storybook to raise awareness around the number of children impacted by medical complexities, the challenges they face and the impact compassionate care in the community plays in ensuring they can live a fulfilling life.
The book is a visual demonstration of the 1% of children who live with medical complexities, and highlights that although only one in 100 children are medically complex, the 1% must not be forgotten. Every child deserves a space where they can thrive.
Safehaven provides that space for medically complex children to ensure they can live a bright and fulfilling life, alongside their peers.
