In June 2022, Safehaven received Accreditation with Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada. This was an outstanding result, especially after receiving Accreditation with Commendation the first time we did the survey four years prior.
Accreditation with Exemplary Standing is used to designate organizations that attain the highest level of performance and achieving excelling in meeting the already high standards Accreditation Canada sets, demonstrating an exemplary commitment to deliver quality care.
Accreditation is a continuous journey. We are dedicated to working hard to ensure that Safehaven is identifying and addressing areas of improvement, looking for opportunities to provide new services and programs, and committed to being a leader in our community and an advocate for the clients we serve.
