A full day of programming, with time to settle in, build new connections, share a meal, and unwind before heading home.

A shorter visit for those easing in or pacing the day. Morning or afternoon, same welcome, same care.

Who can attend?

Safehaven's Adult Day Program is open to adults aged 18 or older with disabilities. These can range from physical and cognitive developmental disabilities to medical complexities requiring higher levels of care. Before admission into the program, a member of Safehaven's team will meet with you to discuss your loved one's care needs and determine if the program is a right fit. Please note, you cannot register your child for the program until this assessment has taken place.

Is transportation available?

It is the caregiver/family's responsibility to organize transportation to and from the day program. Transportation to community excursions is included in program fees.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is free parking on-site. There are also accessible loading zones for easy drops and pickups.

What should participants bring?

Participants should bring with them any scheduled medication and as needed medications, incontinence supplies, syringes, g-tube supplies and anything else our team may need to safely provide care.

Are snacks or lunch included?

Food service is not included in the program. Half-day participants are welcome to bring any snacks or drinks, and full-day participants are encouraged to bring a lunch and snacks with them. Refrigeration is provided and participants are supported with eating snacks and meals.

Can I visit before registering?
