The Safehaven Project for Community Living (Safehaven) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Briscoe to the Safehaven Board of Directors. Jennifer was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985 and the Quebec Civil Bar in 1988. She has held several roles including Prosecutor for the Department of Justice, Co-Chair Criminal Justice Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association and legal advisor for the Toronto Police Service to name a few. Currently, Jennifer serves as an agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.

She will make a deep impact in our work to provide high quality, family-centered and community-based residential and respite care for individuals with complex care needs.”
The Safehaven Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the medical, business and volunteer communities of the Greater Toronto Area. It is the Board’s responsibility to provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of the Safehaven as well as it is to raise awareness of Safehaven’s services.
